— OUR STORY
Why we started
Minnesota Standard.
We saw an opportunity to build the kind of electrical company we believe should exist — one where character and craftsmanship matter equally, people are treated well, and success creates an opportunity to do good beyond the job itself. So we built Minnesota Standard around that idea.
— WHAT WE WANTED TO BUILD
The Minnesota Standard Way
From the beginning, we knew what mattered to us: do excellent work, communicate clearly, help people make informed decisions, and build genuine trust with the people we serve.
And we wanted the impact to reach further than our customers. We want to create good jobs, invest in the next generation of skilled trades, support other local businesses, and give back to the communities that support us. That’s the standard we set for ourselves from day one.

— WHY WE BUILT IT DIFFERENT
Character first. Every time.
We built Minnesota Standard around the kind of company we believe in:
good people, excellent work, and genuine care for the people we serve.
We lead with character, take pride in our craft, and measure success by the trust we earn and the good we can do along the way.
— OUR JOURNEY
Local roots. Intentional growth.
01
A better way to do business
Minnesota Standard started with a simple belief: we could build an electrical company around excellent work, honest service, and doing right by people.
02
One standard, every job
Every service call, panel upgrade, and rewire gets held to the same six-point standard — the one we’d want in our own home.
03
Growing with a purpose
With roots in White Bear Lake and Princeton, we serve homeowners throughout the Northeast Twin Cities and surrounding communities. We’re growing intentionally — through good work, strong relationships, and the trust of our neighbors.

— FOUNDER’S WORD
“At the end of the day, this is about people. We want to do honest, excellent work, take care of the people who trust us, and leave our community better because we’re part of it. We want to set a good example for our team, our kids, and the next generation — and show that you can build a successful business without compromising how you treat people along the way.”
— Andrew & Jenna, Founders of Minnesota Standard Services
