Electrical Panel Upgrades

— OUR APPROACH

Sized for your home — and what’s ahead.

We calculate your home’s electrical load and consider what you may be adding in the future, from an EV charger to a remodel or new appliances. Then we recommend the right panel and service capacity for your home.

We handle permitting, coordinate inspection, and plan any necessary power interruption with you ahead of time to keep the process as smooth as possible.

— COMMON QUESTIONS

What homeowners ask us.

How much does an electrical panel upgrade cost in Minnesota?

Cost depends on your existing electrical service, the capacity your home needs, and the scope of the upgrade. We’ll assess your setup and give you clear, upfront pricing before work begins.

Do I need a new electrical panel?

Not necessarily. An older fuse box, frequently tripping breakers, planned EV charger, remodel, or increased electrical demand are all good reasons to have your panel evaluated. We’ll help you determine what your home actually needs.

What’s the difference between 100-amp and 200-amp electrical service?

The difference is how much electrical capacity is available to your home. Whether 100 or 200 amps is right for you depends on your calculated electrical load, existing service, and future plans. We size the system based on your home rather than assuming bigger is always better.

Can I add a subpanel instead of upgrading my electrical service?

Sometimes. A subpanel can add breaker space, but it doesn’t increase the total electrical capacity available to your home. We’ll evaluate your existing service and determine which option makes sense.

Thinking about a panel upgrade?

We’ll take a look at your current setup, talk through what your home needs, and give you a clear price before you decide how to move forward.
